Boston native killed in Hizbullah attack

A former Massachusetts resident was killed by a Hizbullah rocket in Israel on Wednesday as he was riding his bicycle, according to a spokeswoman at the Israeli Consulate in Boston. David M. Lelchook, 52, and his family had been living in the Kibbutz Sa'ar, near the town of Nahariya. His wife and two children moved to southern Israel when the attacks began, according to Yehuda Shavit, a government official, but Lelchook stayed behind. He was riding his bicycle home after a warning siren went off and a rocket fell, killing him.
