The semi-annual meeting of the Jewish Agency's Board of Governors opened Monday in Jerusalem.
The subjects on the agenda will include the development of the Galilee and the Negev, the promotion of aliyah for the purpose of bringing thousands of new olim to Israel, and, for the first time, the establishment of a task force to battle anti-Semitism.
