The first stage of work on Haifa's Metronit light rail project has been completed in the Hadar neighborhood, but it will be two years before the trains begin running, reports Yediot Haifa. The city has spent NIS 100 million on upgrading the Hadar area and redirecting traffic flow around the new railway line, which will eventually run through lower Haifa from Acre. Drivers are being asked to note the new traffic directions in the area.
