Visitors to Tel Aviv will no longer have to seek out tourist information booths to find out about interesting events and sites in the city this summer - now the information booths will come to them, reports www.local.co.il. The city has set up a number of mobile tourist information booths operating from Segways, whose drivers will travel around the city and supply visitors with information on events and places of interest, maps and brochures. The report said the two-wheeled electric Segways, mounted with large signs saying, "Ask Me - Tourist Information," would travel the length of the Tayelet (the beach promenade) and around the Tel Aviv port, Jaffa, Neveh Tzedek and Sderot Rothschild.
