Stories of the Seder The Storybook Haggadah By Seymour Rossel, illustrated by Janet Zwebner Pitspopany 72 pages; $9.95 Elementary school children who already know how to reach both Hebrew and English will find The Storybook Haggadah by Seymour Rossel, illustrated by Janet Zwebner, easy to use. The slim paperback has large dual language text with easy-to-follow instructions. The pages are filled with colorful borders and illustrations. The text itself is broken by short stories that explain and augment portions of the Seder. But Rossel's edition of the Haggada lacks the more inspired touches provided by other newly published versions. It does not include any suggestions for creative activities. The stories it provides do not go much beyond the well known biblical story and Pessah tales that the child is likely to have already learned in school.
