Al-Maliki has tough time getting Arab support

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was told by key Arab leaders that his Shi'ite-led government needs to step up reconciliation efforts to include Sunni insurgents if he expects Arab support. In his first trip as prime minister to Egypt, the Arab world's most populous nation, al-Maliki is seeking to receive backing from Cairo as part of his efforts to stem Iraq's deadly sectarian violence.
