Arab League gives its support for Fatah-Hamas reconciliation talks

The Arab League on Friday gave its support for Fatah-Hamas reconciliation talks, the day after Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas formed a committee of senior Palestinian officials to prepare for a "national dialogue."
Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa told BBC Arabic that he had spoken to Abbas and Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and expressed hope that the talks would end in success.
