Iran, as a member of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT), has the right to develop nuclear technology for peaceful reasons, Egypt's Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said on Tuesday.
However, Aboul Gheit also said that Teheran must not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.
