Fatah, Hamas agree on cease-fire in Khan Yunis

Fatah and Hamas officials reached a cease-fire agreement in the southern Gaza town after a day of kidnappings and factional killings, Palestinian sources reported on Wednesday evening. It was unclear if the cease-fire would apply to other areas of the Gaza Strip. Five Palestinians were killed and at least 12 were wounded Wednesday in renewed clashes between Hamas and Fatah gunmen in various parts of the Gaza Strip. At least 10 people from both sides were also kidnapped during the confrontations, the worst since a cease-fire was announced in the Gaza Strip two weeks ago.
