Fatah faction head Azzam el-Ahmad denied on Monday reports that Fatah and Hamas have reached a final deal on a unity government for the Palestinian Authority.
According to el-Ahmad, no agreement will be finalized until Hamas presents its candidate to replace PA Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh as leader of the unity government.
