Pakistan's former prime minister Nawaz Sharif called Wednesday for the international community to show caution as it responds to Iran's resumed nuclear program.
Speaking during a visit to London, Sharif urged those meeting at Thursday's emergency session of the International Atomic Energy Agency to use restraint in dealing with Tehran.
"Iran should be dealt with very carefully and very sensibly," Sharif told the British Broadcasting Corp's World Service radio.
He said there were several ways of handling Iran's nuclear capability, but "pushing them against the wall" would not be "a very wise step."
