Hamas spokesman rejects Quartet's calls to disarm

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuri rejected the calls by the Quartet on Monday that the organization disarm and recognize Israel in the wake of its sweeping victory in the January 25 Palestinian Legislative Council elections. "The Quartet should have asked for an end to Israeli occupation and aggression," Abu Zuri said, "and not asked from the victim to accept the occupation and stand handcuffed before the aggression."
