Hamas: We are still committed to the cease-fire agreement

In response to the firing of Kassam rockets from the Gaza Strip into the western Negev Tuesday afternoon, Hamas has said that the group is still committed to the cease-fire. Three Kassams were fired into the Sderot area, the second violation of a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas which took effect last Thursday. Two women were treated for shock from the attack, and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office has called the attack a violation of the truce. The Islamic Jihad militant group claimed responsibility, saying that it was avenging an IDF raid that killed two Palestinians in the West Bank early Tuesday.
