Palestinian Authority Prime Minister said Monday evening that there had been "significant progress" on a prisoner exchange for kidnapped IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit, Channel 2 reported.
According to Haniyeh, the "Israeli occupiers" had previously rejected negotiation and the idea of a simultaneous prisoner release, but now were willing to accept those conditions.
There was no immediate Israeli response.
