Hizbullah supporters in Lebanon protest Gaza siege

Thousands of Hizbullah supporters in Lebanon are protesting the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip. The group held the rally Friday in Beirut's southern suburbs. Hizbullah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah called on people across the Muslim and Arab world to hold demonstrations demanding the blockade be lifted. Similar protests and sit-ins in support of the Palestinians in Gaza were held in other areas of southern and eastern Lebanon. Israel and Egypt imposed a blockade on Gaza after Hamas seized power of it last year. The barrier was tightened last month when Gaza terrorists resumed firing rockets at Israel.
