Human Rights Watch: Lebanon should investigate atrocities reports
By JERUSALEM POST STAFF
A leading international human rights organization called Sunday on Lebanese authorities to investigate reports of atrocities committed during last week's sectarian violence that claimed at least 67 lives across Lebanon.
The New York-based Human Rights Watch said in a statement it has documented reports of violations of international law, committed by both opposition and pro-government militias during the fighting, including attacks on civilians and civilian property.
