Report: Al-Qaida holding kidnapped BBC reporter

Al-Qaida is suspected of holding BBC reporter Alan Johnston, who was kidnapped in Gaza on March 12, Channel 10 quoted foreign media sources as saying on Monday. Reportedly, the kidnappers are asking for five million dollars, land in the Palestinian Authority and the release of Sajida al-Rishawi - an Iraqi woman sentenced to death for her role in the al-Qaida-led triple hotel bombing in Amman, Jordan that killed 60 people. Al-Rishawi was intended to be one of the suicide bombers in the November 9, 2005, attack.
