UN Secretary-General condemns terrorist attack at Nahal Oz

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon condemned on Thursday the terrorist attack at Nahal Oz, where two Israeli civilians were killed a day earlier. In his announcement, Ban Ki-Moon wrote that "the escalation in the Gaza Strip is of great concern, and Israel does have a right to defend itself." Nonetheless, he also criticized the IDF for allegedly killing Palestinian civilians in Gaza after the attack. According to the Secretary-General, "the lives of all civilians must be defended in any confrontation."
