Emirates President Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday ordered the transfer of US$30 million to the Palestinian Authority, the state owned news agency, WAM, reported.
The money will be transferred to the PA, headed by Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, and not the Hamas-led government.

The Palestinian government has been under crippling international sanctions since January, when Hamas won legislative elections. Western donors cut off hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to the Hamas government.
Israel also suspended vital tax transfers to the Palestinians over Hamas's refusal to renounce violence, recognize Israel's right to exist and to accept past peace deals.
However, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert agreed on Saturday night to release $100 million in tax revenue for humanitarian aid purposes, following a meeting with Abbas.
The Arab League, angered by the IDF's offensive in Gaza, voted last month to end its financial blockade on the Palestinians after Hamas agreed to an international peace conference with Israel.
Arab banks have not transferred funds to the Palestinian Authority for fear of US-led sanctions. The United States and EU list Hamas as a terrorist organization.
It was not immediately known when the monetary transfer from the Emirates to the Palestinian Authority would take place.
