A fusion of ancient and contemporary: The hanukkia that best reflects Israel's fortitude this past year and the military triumphs of the Jews in days past has possibly been found.
US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro posted a well-wishing Hannuka message along with a photograph of himself posing with an Iron Dome-modeled hannukia ahead of the festival, which begins Tuesday evening.

The unique hannukia can be seen dually representing a symbol of heroism from recent military efforts along with those found in the Hannuka narrative.
