Rockets intercepted over Beersheba, Ashkelon and Tel Aviv area

No injuries reported in the latest barrages; wall between two homes damaged in Ashkelon.

Israelis in southern and central Israel started their work week on Sunday morning with rocket sirens and loud explosions of rocket interceptions.
Following sirens in Ashkelon and Beersheba in the South at around 8:30 a.m., the Iron Dome rocket defense system intercepted one rocket over each city. A number of rockets fell in open areas of the two cities.  
Police say that shrapnel from one of the rockets struck a wall between two homes in Ashkelon. One person was being treated for shock and police sappers were at the scene.   
At around 9:00 a.m. rocket alert sirens blared in central Israel, in Herzliya, Ramat Hasharon, and Ra'anana.  
Police said that Iron Dome shot down a rocket in the Tel Aviv area and shrapnel from the interception fell and damaged a car. Police advised the public not to handle shrapnel and to stay away from the scene of fallen debris.
The barrages on Sunday morning caused no injuries.
