Israel Nature and Heritage
Shaul Goldstein, director-general of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, is currently in the US meeting with Jewish community leaders to recruit a new president and additional members for the executive committee in Israel. He met with Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations; and David and Stacey Kaufman, chairs of the Israel Nature and Heritage Foundation in the US. Hoenlein told Goldstein that conservation and heritage are important issues in the Jewish world, especially among young businessmen, and that he himself believes the Jewish community has a commitment to build a strong foundation.
