It was Ben Friedrich's month again as the superb youngster finished with a net-67 to take the first place in the "A" division in the August Monthly Medal held at the Ga'ash Golf Club on Tuesday.
Ben played the front nine in a 2-over-par 37, with seven pars and two bogies, and came home in a 1-over par 36, with two birdies, four pars and three bogies, giving him a gross 73.
Playing off a six-handicap ending up with a final score of net-67.
In second place in the "A" division was Steve Taylor with the net-70.
Scoring in the "B" division was quite good all around as well with Eli Abramov, who travels all the way from Omer in the south to play at Ga'ash, scoring a net-67 to take first place in second-tier division.
In second place was Limor Sidi with a net-68.
Gershon Feldman made his way from Jerusalem to take 1st place in the "C" Division with a net-68 followed by Adele Katz at net-71.
Despite the very warm weather conditions, scoring was not effected and the standard of play was still very high.
The Wine Center at Ga'ash's nearest-to-the-pin prizes went to Amos Raz and Steve Taylor.
The players at Ga'ash are now getting ready for the Club Championships to be held in September.
