Golf: Ga’ash hosts Stableford tournament to aid new olim

The “better ball” Stableford competition was played on the beautiful Ga’ash golf course with a full field of 60 golfers.

The Ga’ash Golf Club continues to show its generosity of donating to the community by hosting a charity tournament in aid of Esra, a charity involved in helping the needy and assisting new immigrants in many ways to improve their quality of life.
The “better ball” Stableford competition was played on the beautiful Ga’ash golf course with a full field of 60 golfers.
In first place were Yochanan Hoffman and Albert Katzanelenbogen with anamazing 46 points. In second place, also with 46 points but with aninferior back-nine, were Aviva Smadar and Henrietta Esser. Third placewent to David Assia and Chaim Shaininger on 44 points.
The men’s longest drive prize, on hole #2, was taken by YochananHoffman. Ruth Gilad won the prize on hole #4 for the women. Nearest tothe Pin on hole #4 went to Norma Kaufman and Richard Gabriel.
At the prize giving ceremony all the winners were presented with veryspecial prizes and trophies for their excellent golf. The in-houseGreenfield caterers at Ga’ash Golf Club served the after-tournamentbuffet which was enjoyed by all.
