The UEFA decided on Friday to lift a month-long ban on holding international soccer matches in Israel.
According to the UEFA statement, the decision came because the end of the war had restored peace and quiet to the region.
Even so, matches can still only be held in the Gush Dan area, as was the case before the war began.
The UEFA imposed the ban last month due to the war in Lebanon.
