During challenging times in US-Israel relations, John always stood firmly with Israel.

In the Middle East McCain is remembered as a principled supporter of US allies, of people’s quest for freedom from dictatorship and of human rights.

McCain and Trump are opposites. One is a war hero, a straight shooter and has the nation's best interest at heart and the other is the president.

At 200, the disgraced thinker assumes new relevance as a historian, an economist, and also as a Jew.

The preelection scorn for values, civility and truth was followed by impulse, ignorance, improvisation and a universal sense of impending doom.

The Taliban criticized the Afghan gov. as "stooges," "lying corrupt leaders" and "repulsive sellouts" who are providing the US with overly optimistic "rosy pictures" of the situation in Afghanistan.
