The festival is celebrating its 20th year – plus one, because of the 2020 version– and at age 20, it is a force to be reckoned with in Israel’s cultural landscape.

By the creator of "Waltz with Bashir" Ari Folman, "Where is Anne Frank" features Frank's imaginary friend Kitty as its guiding force.

The app, called Looom, offers an innovative way for animators to create playful hand-drawn animation on Apple's iPads.

The campaign will use Idan Barzilay's artwork to create colorful animations that in turn will help bring people with similar opinions or beliefs together, in an artistic way.

The short, titled 'Once Upon a Virus', is part of a war of words between the US and China over the disease's origins, which emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan and has grown into a global pandemic.

The show, in Japanese, is made by Israelis and is getting some excited feedbacks.

"I won't be doing the voice anymore, unless there's someway to transition it or something," Azaria said in an interview with SlashFilm.

Susman is a producer for Pixar Animation Studios – the studio that made such animated classics as the Toy Story, Cars and Incredibles franchises, – and has worked on every movie the company has made.

Mendel began his career in television on the Tracey Ullman Show where Matt Groening began showing ‘The Simpsons,’ he won four Emmys for his work.
