Following their arrest, Southern District Police Commander Haim Bublil signed an administrative order closing the property for 30 days.

A 48-year-old Kafr Aqab resident was detained and taken for further questioning by the INPA on suspicion of committing offenses including the trade, possession, and hunting of a protected species.

One person was killed as a result of the incident itself; two others were shot and killed by Israeli security forces.

After inspecting the vehicle, officers found a large quantity of avocados in the trunk that they suspected had been stolen. They also identified a suspect near the vehicle and detained him.

Observers from the Border Police patrol unit first noticed the group digging a tunnel near the fence and alerted officers in the field, who then went to the scene. 

Yazan Goaya proposed meeting the minor for sexual activity, offered money, requested photographs, and sent sexually explicit messages to a child under 14 years of age, the indictment alleged.

The police stated that, overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday, Border Police officers, accompanied by supervisors from the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, infiltrated the area.
