Gilad Sharon, the son of the late PM Ariel Sharon, doesn't believe that the current state of affairs allows for a development of a potential peace accord between Israel and the Palestinians.
The request was rejected because Sharon still had three months left and 11 days to complete the training period as a Likud member, and he did not receive approval from PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu signed a waiver to allow Yoav Gallant to stand in the primaries after the ex-Kulanu member joined Netanyahu's party.
