Humanitarian aid

The US-Israeli attacks on Iran that began on February 26 have choked up key humanitarian aid routes, delaying life-saving shipments to some of the world's worst crises.

The organization, Ad Kan, a right-wing Israeli organization founded by Gilad Ach, an Israeli combat reservist and West Bank settler activist, coordinated the flights via a company called Al-Majd.

"Solidarity in words must be matched by solidarity in action," UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said as he announced the campaign from Beirut.

Some 17 NGOs and the Association of International Development Agencies (AIDA) sought an urgent suspension of the ban in a petition to the High Court of Justice.

For the first time during the war, a major international organization has publicly recognized the presence of armed groups operating within a Gaza hospital.
