January sets record for organ transplants in Israel with 54 procedures

During January, 54 transplants were performed on 47 patients, significantly higher than the previous record set in 2024, when about 36 transplants were performed in one month.

The Israeli voluntary kidney donation organization Matnat Chaim set a new world record for the largest gathering of organ donors in history, marking the achievement with an event on January 26, 2026.
