The Hamas delegation intends to present demilitarization proposals to its Egyptian counterpart, including one that suggests Hamas may surrender heavy arms in exchange for retaining light arms.

“In the context that our people are still under occupation, talking about disarmament is an attempt to make our people an easy victim to be eliminated," Hamas’s political leader, Mashaal, said.

The document outlines how officials affiliated with Hamas must act before the establishment of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG).

The logo features an eagle with a shield the colors of the Palestinian flag on its chest, holding a banner. In previous iterations, the banner read "Palestine", but the NCAG version reads "NCAG."

Statements from NCAG and Nickolay Mladenov came after Israeli strikes and Hamas tunnel activity raised concerns over ceasefire violations.
