iTravelJerusalem continues its tour of the Church of the Holy Sepluchre with in-house guide Danny Herman. We descend below ground, into a crypt that archaeologists say is as close as we can come to proving that, as the New Testament tells us, Jesus was actually crucified and buried at this site.
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, in the Old City’s Christian Quarter, is one of Jerusalem’s most magnetic attractions, drawing throngs of visitors from all over the world. Thousands flock to the church, which most Christians believe houses Golgotha, the site of the Crucifixion.
