12 Palestinians arrested in overnight raids, weapons workshop uncovered

During Wednesday night, IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) forces arrested 12 wanted Palestinians in the West Bank, including eight suspected of involvement in terrorism and violence towards civilians and security services.

Included in the detainees were members of terrorist organizations Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

A weapons workshop was also uncovered in the vicinity of Hebron, with additional weapons and the materials to produce them discovered after additional patrols in villages outside the city.

The IDF said that in the course of 2016, forces have seized 424 weapons, as well as 39 weapons manufacturing workshops.
