15 injured in attack in Turkey

ISTANBUL— Assailants exploded a remote-controlled bomb near a police vehicle in Istanbul on Tuesday, lightly injuring 15 people, Turkey's interior minister said.

The roadside bomb went off in the Kucukcekmece district, on the outskirts of the city, as the vehicle was passing. Police officers in the vehicle and a number of passers-by were injured.
