A passenger in a taxi who was stopped by Tel Aviv traffic police on Wednesday was found in possession of 20.6 grams of narcotics suspected to be heroin and crystal meth, police said Thursday.

Apparently, eleven doses of drugs had fallen out of the suspect's underwear as police had conducted a search on his person.

The man, aged 49, was arrested. The taxi driver, a 59-year-old Ramle resident, was arrested on suspicion of serving as a conduit for drug dealers. He was later released.
