Three people, including a young girl, were wounded Friday in a shooting at a Lod grocery store.

A man wearing a motorcycle helmet entered the store in the late afternoon, pulled out a gun and started shooting. A man in his seventies and a 10-year-old girl were lightly wounded while a 16-year-old boy, the store owner’s son, was moderately wounded.

The shooter escaped the scene and police were searching for him. Police said they suspected the 16-year-old was the target of the attack.
