During a conference in Beersheba on Saturday, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said he was "optimistic" about the investigation of the double homicide at the "Bar Noar" center for homosexual youths in Tel Aviv. Aharonovitch stated that the incident was being investigated from several angles, and that progress was being made. Police and eyewitnesses said a solitary shooter had perpetrated the August attack, in which Nir Katz,26, and Liz Trubishi, 17, were killed.
