Labor MK Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told former Labor leadership candidate MK Amir Peretz on Sunday that he was one of Labor's stars and that he in fact won the race.

"From now on, the stage is for you and [Labor party leader Shelly] Yacimovich," Ben-Eliezer said. "Short of marrying you, I will do everything possible to get you to work together."

Peretz said in response, "If you count the points, we got more, but it doesn't work that way and you have to respect that."
