Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt tweeted a response to Friday's terror attacks in Norway which left 98 people dead, saying "We must - and we will - strengthen the open, tolerant and welcoming character of our Nordic societies."

He added, "Terror will never close us down."

Norwegian press reported Sunday that Anders Behring Breivik, suspected of being behind the attacks, had been planning the bombing and shooting spree since at least autumn 2009.
