Burns cover 94% of TA self-immolator's body

Moshe Silman, the Haifa man who set himself on fire during Saturday night's social justice protest in Tel Aviv, is in critical condition, his doctors told Army Radio Sunday morning.

Silman's burns cover 94% of his body, and his doctors expect him to remain in near-fatal condition for an extended period of time, as common with serious burn victims, they said.Army Radio also reported that Silman's family knew of his intentions to self-immolate, and tried to prevent him from reaching the protest.
