City manager: J'lem tent city will need to change location

July 19, 2011 22:02

A group of protesters that have created a small tent city outside Jersualem's old city walls can remain there until Thursday at 12:00 p.m., at which point they will have to find an alternate location, Jerusalem City Manager Yossi Hyman said Tuesday.

The protest in the capital, smaller than Tel Aviv's Rothschild Street demonstration, is part of a national effort to lower rent prices and pass more effective housing and construction reforms.
