Criminally-motivated car bomb explodes in Kiryat Motzkin

An explosion ripped through a vehicle in Kiryat Motzkin, police said on Tuesday afternoon. No injuries were reported, though one person suffered shock.

The vehicle, which was at a parking lot at the time of the explosion, is registered to a 32-year-old resident of the area.

Police said the attack was criminally motivated.

A police bomb squad unit scoured the blast scene, collecting evidence and searching for any additional explosives.

Police sealed off Rehov Goshen, where the blast occurred.
