Embassy in Washington, AIPAC praise congressional support

The Israeli Embassy in Washington expressed appreciation Friday night to both houses of Congress for passing resolutions supporting Israel's right to defend itself.Both the Senate and the US House of Representatives unanimously passed identical non-binding resolutions on Thursday and Friday, respectively, expressing support for Israel's "inherent right to act in self-defense."The American Israel Public Affairs Committee in a statement praised "the extraordinary show of support...for Israel’s struggle against terrorist attacks on its citizens."
