Foreign Minister and Israel Beiteinu leader Avigdor Liberman said Tuesday that his party would have a historic opportunity the next day, when it will propose a bill to replace the Tal Law.

Liberman's statement came as Vice Premier Shaul Mofaz was expected to announce the withdrawal of his party, Kadima, from the coalition. The move follows failed attempts by Kadima and Likud to reach an agreement over new legislation to equalize the burden of national service.
