Francois Abutbul investigated for 'Bat Ha'ikar' arson

Francois Abutbul, of the Abutbul crime family, is being investigated for arson, Israel Radio reported on Thursday.

The investigation comes almost a week after Abutbul's three "Bat Ha'ikar" restaurants in Netanya were firebombed and subsequently burnt down.Police originally thought a fued between rival families was the reason for the attack, but now reporedly think that Abutbul burned his own restaurants due to financial problems.

Abutbul is exercising his right to remain silent, Israel Radio reported.
