The chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Yukiya Amano, said fuel swap talks could begin soon following positive signs from counties involved, Reuters reported on Monday.

Plans for Iran to trade some of its nuclear material for medical reactor fuel had stalled after Iran backed out of a tentative plan last year.

Talks could reportedly begin as early as September.
