Gal-On: Lapid continues previous gov't's ways

Meretz chairwoman Zehava Gal-On slammed Finance Minister Yair Lapid during a no-confidence motion discussion in the Knesset on Monday.

"Finance Minister Lapid continues the path of the previous government and instead of talking about a significant reform he ignores the bigger economic danger: the ever-growing inequality," she said.

"The decision to raise the value added tax is a small step that the weakened and middle class are going to pay for, it will destroy what's left of the social state," she added.
