Gilad Schalit visits the sea-shore

Newly released captive soldier Gilad Schalit and his father Noam visited the sea shore on Saturday, according to a family spokesman.

Gilad, who returned to his Mitzpe Hila home on Tuesday after more than five years of captivity in Gaza, continues to recuperate from his experience, the spokesman said.

He added that Gilad was eating well and growing stronger. Gilad has watched a number of Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball games and continues to meet with friends and neighbors, the spokesman said.

President Shimon Peres is expected to visit Gilad on Monday.
