Gilad Schalit has gained weight and has returned to his normal state, according to Tzvi Schalit, Gilad's grandfather.

Tzvi also thanked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Thursday for his efforts in securing Gilad's release, according to Israel Radio.
